Given the Decree of the Italian Prime Minister of 9 March 2020 – containing new measures for the containment and contrast of the spread of the Covid-19 virus or coronavirus throughout the national territory – the President of the Pro Loco Massa Lubrense, Teresa Pappalardo, orders the closure to the public of the office.
For proven urgent needs, the interested people can contact the office by phone at ******* or via e-mail to email@example.com in order to evaluate any alternative ways of processing the request or to arrange an appointment.
The disposal will be active until further notice.
What does the decree stipulate about travel for tourism?
All travels for tourism reasons are to be avoided absolutely. Italian and foreign tourists who are already in the national territory must limit travel to those necessary to return to their places of residence or home.
Since the airports and railway stations remain open, tourists will be able to go there to take the plane or train and return to their homes. It is recommended to check the status of flights and public transport on the websites of the land, sea, and air transport companies.
CEREMONIES AND EVENTS
What does the decree provide for ceremonies, events, and shows?
All organized events are suspended throughout the national territory as well as events in a public or private place, including those of cultural, recreational, sporting, religious and fair nature, even if held in closed places but open to the public (cinemas, theaters, pubs), dance schools, arcades, etc.

The Pro Loco Massa Lubrense – in collaboration with the Arciconfraternita SS. Rosario dell’Annunziata and the I. P. San Paolo – takes care of the opening.
“I am extremely happy and satisfied to be able to open a fundamental piece of the history of Massa Lubrense – says President Teresa Pappalardo. – My personal thanks go first and foremost to the Arciconfraternita, which enthusiastically adhered to the idea and with which a deep and fruitful collaboration is born, to make the place usable and welcoming. I’m thankful to the City of Massa Lubrense, which promptly responded to our request, and to the High School San Paolo with whom we have a school-work protocol that has led the student Francesco La Via to take care of the openings to the public. With the collaboration of the historian Gennaro Galano we are preparing a new brochure about the place, which we are currently translating into English to allow visitors to deepen the site, and we are drafting a series of events that will enrich the summer events season of Massa Lubrense.”
