BY TRAIN
From Naples to Sorrento, the Circumvesuviana rail line runs efficiently every half-hour from 6:09am to the last train at 21:39pm. It stops at Herculaneum, Pompeii, and Sorrento, with numerous stops in between.
CIRCUMVESUVIANA Trains Napoli – Sorrento
Tip: At € 5,50, the TIC ticket (buy the zone, or fascia U5) will get you from Naples to Sorrento, and then from Sorrento to Massa Lubrense centro by bus (EAV bus Line A).
Autobus EAV Line A (Massa Lubrense – Sorrento – Meta di Sorrento): every 20 or 30 minutes (€ 1,30).
BY FERRY/HYDROFOIL
There is an Alilauro hydrofoil leaving many times daily from Naples’s Molo Beverello to Sorrento Marina Piccola (35 min. € 13,20).
From Capri there are frequent hydrofoils to Sorrento Marina Piccola (40 min. € 19,50).
To Amalfi and Positano, during summertime, there are two daily connections from Sorrento Marina Piccola (€ 16,50).
BY BUS
Autolinee Curreri Service runs about 10 buses daily from Napoli’s Capodichino Airport to Sorrento Circumvesuviana rail station (1hr. € 10,00).
Autolinee Marozzi and Flixbus runs one or two buses daily from Rome’s Tiburtina Station (4 hr. € 18,00).
SITA buses run along the coastal road between Amalfi and Sorrento, passing through Positano and Praiano, and connect the hamlets of Massa Lubrense.

BY BUS
From Massa Centro to Sorrento the Autobus EAV Line A runs every 20/30 minutes.
SITA buses connect the many hamlets of Massa Lubrense, and Massa Lubrense to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.
BY CAR
Since Massa Lubrense makes such a good base, but there are only few transportations during the night, picking up a car or scooter here can be very useful.
PARKING IN MASSA LUBRENSE
The parking spaces in the streets and in the municipal parking lots around the town of Massa Lubrense, are marked by white or blue lines.
Inside the white lines parking is free, the road signs indicates whether the allowed dwell time is limited and for how long.
The blue lines on the street and in the municipal parking lots are to be paid from 8:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00; they are free in the afternoon and at night. During the paying hours you can park there paying at the parking-machine or exposing the parkcard or the parking subscription.
Parkcards
The parkcard is a coupon to be displayed on the dashboard so that it is clearly visible from the outside. You can use it when there is not a parking-machine nearby.
On the parkcard you must indicate year, month, day, hour, and minute of the time when you park your car.
There are parkcards for 30 minutes (€ 0.50), 1 hour (€ 1.00), 2 hours (€ 2.00), 3 hours (€ 3.00), 1 week (€ 30.00).
You can use more parkcards to cover different or longer parking periods; the parkcard can also be used on other days from the one in which you buy it.
You can buy parkcard in every hamlet of the municipality of Massa Lubrense, in stores that display the specific mark.
Parking subscription
The subscription for parking within the blue lines of the municipality of Massa Lubrense is released by the Municipal Police (Comandi dei Vigili Urbani, Via Palma 3 – 80061 Massa Lubrense center | Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9: 00-13 : 00 Tuesday and Thursday 15: 30-17: 30).
Requirements: a copy of the ID card of the car owner, the ownership certificate and the certificate of registration of the vehicle.
The amount must be paid by postal order.
