Reuse Market 2025: an afternoon of sharing, smiles and sustainability
One of the most anticipated events for kids (and not only!) is back: the Reuse Market of Massa Lubrense. After the wonderful success of last year’s edition, we’ll meet again on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Gardens in central Massa Lubrense for an open-air afternoon filled with creativity, sharing, and good habits.
The Reuse Market is an event designed especially for children, who become the real stars by setting up their own stands to sell, trade, or donate items they no longer use: toys, books, clothes, and much more. It’s a small but meaningful lesson in sustainability and solidarity, experienced firsthand.
A small guide for young reusers
To make the most of this special experience, here are a few useful tips to get ready for the Reuse Market 2025:
Bring only items in good condition
Choose toys, books, or clothes that other children might enjoy. Everything should be clean and in good shape.
Give things a quick refresh
A bit of cleaning can work wonders! Well-kept items are nicer to display and easier to trade.
Sort by category
Organize your items by type: toys in one place, books in another, clothes separately. This makes your stand clearer and more inviting.
Prepare your labels
Write prices or info on small cards (recycled cardboard is even better). Add some decorations to make your stand more colorful and fun.
You choose: sell, trade, or donate
Decide how you want to take part — make some swaps, sell your items, or simply give them away. Every choice counts!
Set up your space
All you need is a mat, a blanket, or a small table, and your little corner will be ready to welcome friends and visitors.
And don’t forget to visit the other stands — you might find your next favorite book or the perfect stuffed animal to take home!
