The city of Naples, the provincial capital and of the Campania region, is famous all over the world for its artistic and naturalistic beauties, for its humanity and for the testimonies of its historical past.

According to ancient Greek and Roman historians, the birth of the city is linked to the legend of the siren Parthenope, who let herself die for not being able, with singing, to enchant Ulysses.

Spaccanapoli is the road from the Quartieri Spagnoli to the Forcella district, cutting the city of Naples in a straight line.

Opening: Every -day from 09:00 to 20:00

Closing: Every Tuesday, 1st January, 25 December

Tickets: Entire 6,50 €, reduced 3,25 €

How to get there: From Piazza Garibaldi (station), bus 201, or with the line 2 of the subway stop at Piazza Cavour station.

Opening: From Monday to Friday at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, on Thursday even at 21:00. Saturday, Sunday and holyday at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00,16:00 and 18:00.

Chapel of San Severo and Veiled Christ of Naples

Opening: Weekdays at 10:00-17:40, Sunday and holydays at 10:00-13:10

Closing: On Thursday

Tickets: entire 6,00 €, reduced 4,00€

How to get there: From the airport of Capodichino, Alibus stop in Piazza Municipio, then bus 1,4 or C 82 stop in Via Nuova Marina

From the Central Station, subway line 2 stop in Cavour.

The treasure of San Gennaro

Opening: Ever day from 09:00-14:00. Also open on 1st January, East, Monday in albis, 15 August and 25 December.

Tickets: entire €6,00,reduced € 4,50. Group of at least 15 people € 4,50 per person with reservation and compulsary guide. Schoolchildren € 3,50. All the tickets for the museum include the multilingual headseat while stocks last.

How to get there: subway line 1 stop in “Cavour” or line 2 stop “Museo”.

The Museum of Capodimonte in Naples

Opening: everyday from 8:30 to 19:30

Closing: every Wednesday, 1st January and 25 December

Tickets: entire € 7,50; reduced € 3,75

How to get there: from the airport of Capodichino, Alibus stop in Piazza Municipio and bus C63 o R4. Subway line 2 stop Cavour and then bus 178, M2 o 201 or line 2 stop Montesanto and bus C63 o R4.
