Church of Gesù Salvatore in Schiazzano

Built at the end of the sixteenth century, on the remains of a fifteenth-century church, the church of SS. Salvatore was completed around 1624, as indicated by the date on the pediment of the entrance.

The church has a single nave with a vault, apse and dome. The Arco Maggiore is located between two chapels; three other altars follow on each side of the nave. The High Altar, in polychrome marble, is from the eighteenth century, it houses the simulacrum of the SS. Savior in an altarpiece with columns and a broken pediment.
