Recommone Beach

Recommone Beach

To reach on foot or by boat, the inlet of Recommone beach is a lovely spot.

Recommone - Massa Lubrense

Recommone is a little beach in a cove between Marina del Cantone and the Crapolla Cove. The beach, about 65 meters long, has clear and small pebbles; on the right side there is a restaurant with a small cement dock.

You can reach Recommone both by sea and by land, through a short but scenic trail that starts from the beach in Marina del Cantone and runs around the headland of St. Antonio. Just before the tip, you can see the Tower of Recommone (1567).

In the small cove of Recommone, at sea level, there are various cavities; the largest is Grotta Recommone, also known as Grotta dei Pescatori (The Fishermen’s Grotto) because it is a gray area where to anchor.
